CHANGE IS COMING: BE PREPARED

On the 2nd July 2018, the updated BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations were issued and are intended to come into effect on 1st January 2019.

This means that any installations designed after 31st December 2018 will have to comply with BS 7671:2018.

The Regulations apply to the design, erection and verification of all electrical installations including additions and alterations to existing installations. Existing installations that have been installed in accordance with earlier editions of the Regulations may not comply with this edition in every respect.

This does not necessarily mean that they are unsafe but by employing experts like ourselves to carry out a NICEIC Electrical Installation Condition report, you will know for sure.
